The power of belief is crucial in your performance

In the 1940s the mile record of 4:01 minutes remained unbroken for nine years, as the experts maintained that the human body was not capable of a 4-minute mile.

Roger Bannister used the power of his mind, in order to break the ‘4-minute mile’ in 1954.

He created within himself the absolute certainty that he could achieve the ‘impossible’, by regularly using visualisation techniques to give his mind the power of the belief that his body could do it.

Not only did he break the world record – he also broke the belief, or myth, and gave the world a new belief – with this new world belief, 10 people achieved ‘ the impossible 4 minute mile’ within 2 years, and now it happens regularly today in track meets around the world.
