Pain in not a sensation, pain is a perception,
which is affected through a variety of influences and factors
including our beliefs, expectations, thoughts, emotions, habits and cultural norms, to name but a few.
What we perceive and interpret as pain,
is hugely influenced by our subconscious mind.
