Most frequent questions and answers
RTT was developed to work quickly and avoid the need for continuous sessions. Often only 2-3 sessions are needed, depending on the person and the issue.
The first session is the main session, often lasting between 1½ to 2½ hours in length.
Following sessions are generally shorter, up to an hour.
Change happens in 3 ways:
- Sometimes the changes happen instantly.
- Sometimes the changes occur as a cumulative or incremental effect which gradually get stronger and stronger over time, as you listen to your bespoke audio that I will make for you.
- Change can also happen latently or retroactively, where for a while you are not even aware of any changes, but realise at some later point that you have in fact made the desired changes as one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.
RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create big changes in your life within a few sessions.
For most issues I offer a 2 session package.
For some clients, and some issues (such as weight and eating issues), additional sessions are a good idea.
Many people want to keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life . I can give you further support and sessions if you want or need these for continued support on your empowering journey of change and transition.

Many clients are surprised, as they go back to scenes that are totally different from what they expected.
Your subconscious mind knows exactly what is root of your issue, and the RTT tools and techniques I use will allow your subconscious mind to show you exactly what you need to see, to help you to both understand and to resolve the issue, so just relax and trust the RTT process.
During the RTT process you will not relive the scenes, you are simply reviewing the scenes to see how they have affected you.
Whatever comes up, remember that you have already dealt with it. You are only reviewing the scenes to understand the affect it had on you.
In fact events do not affect us, it is the meaning that we attach to the events that affects us.
Please tell me if you would rather not do regression, and I can use an alternative way of working with you.
No ! RTT uses Hypnotherapy as a tool to access the subconcious mind in the first part of the RTT process, to discover the root cause of your issue. RTT then uses other tools and healing methods, that cause neuroplastic changes, leading to transformation and healing, by ‘recoding’ outdated, dysfunctional programmes.
Hypnosis is a natural, relaxing state of inward focus, clinically proven to provide medical and therapeutic benefits.
Hypnotherapy is acknowledged by the Royal Society of Medicine as an effective therapy for a whole variety of issues.

No, most people don’t feel different to normal, you will be able to speak, move , hear , speak and respond. If you are very relaxed you may drift into sleep, but after a while you will wake up again and return to a normal, alert waking state.

Depth of trance is not related to results, it is equally effective in a light or deep trance state.
During the RTT process you will mainly be in a very light trance state, and remain alert and responsive. You will probably not feel very different to normal. Most people cannot tell the difference between the hypnotised and the waking states. Don’t worry it is still effective.

Hypnotherapy is way of giving yourself control over your mind, not taking it away. It is very empowering. You will not lose your control of your mind during this hypnotherapy and your free will and moral judgment will NOT be turned off. Hypnosis cannot be used to force you to do something against your own will. Some people say ‘you can’t hypnotise me’ which is absolutely true in the sense that your will won’t allow it to do anything it doesn’t want to do.
